Teacher’s Day

Teachers are determined guides who carry the responsibility to steer thousands of young minds in the right direction! Nothing could deter the ahlconites, not even the pandemic in extending their heartfelt gratitude to each and every teacher.
The first ever virtual teacher’s day event was simply amazing! It took place on September 4th at a platform called zoom. All the teachers and students put their heart into this event. It began with a mesmerizing video of Dr. S Radhakrishnan, the greatest teacher ever! Followed by the iconic music and dance performances which were pre-recorded in the virtual event but not once did anyone feel that they were virtual; the students were able to put everything together so well. The students also honoured all the dignitaries and senior departments with respective titles, which was a take away from the event for every teacher! Two students along with two teachers were able to pull off a hasya jugalbandhi ‘Kal aaj aur kal’ in the most wonderful and relatable way possible. The event beautifully ended with a video presentation giving tribute to teachers which was so nostalgic with all the gorgeous pictures and melodious voice over by the students!
A passionate student from 12th grade extended his gratitude towards the teachers on behalf of the entire student community. Last but not the least, two students of 12th Grade took initiative and managed to create personalized teacher’s day message for some of the teachers and many students from senior school contributed to this beautiful gesture. And this is how the teacher’s day 2020 was so memorable and the hard work put in by all the teachers and students paid off with a big smile on every teacher’s face!
