Children’s Day Celebration

Pt Nehru once said, ‘The children of today will make the India of tomorrow. The way we bring them up will determine the future of the country.’ With an objective to keep the spirit of Children’s day lively and enriching, Virtual Children’s Day was celebrated at Ahlcon International School on 12^th Nov’ 2020 for students of grade IX-XII. With a change in culture, children are more into cartoons and animated movies. Keeping this in mind, the program was kickstarted with an informative video about importance of Children’s day and Pt Nehru. This allowed the children to peep into the past and get a peek at significance of Children’s Day. To make this day even more special for students, Ms. Karishma and Mr Rajib Roy presented Hasya Kavita on the theme ‘Online Classes’. Leaving no stone unturned, Senior School teachers further presented a virtual drama for the students. Teachers extended their blessings to students in the form of recorded messages. Reminiscences were showcased during the program to take the students into the memory lane and remind them of teachers’ endless love and affection towards them. Principal, Mr. Sanjay Yadav also showered his blessings on the students and appreciated the efforts made by the teachers to make this day special for them. Director, Dr. Ashok K. Pandey, extended his love and benediction towards students and congratulated Headmaster, Mr. Puneet Duggal and teachers for conducting a successful event. All in all, the event was a great success and this special day became a joyous celebration for each and everyone.
