“If there is magic on this planet, it is contained in water.”
Network18 and Reckitt Benckiser’s have embarked on a Nationwide Water Conservation Campaign – Harpic Network 18 MISSION PAANI. The students of Ahlcon International participated in the campaign by observing Jal Pratigya Diwas on 18th November 2020.
To inspire citizens, especially school children, the custodians of our future, to take a ‘Jal Pratigya’ and become ‘Jal Rakshaks’ various activities were held in senior section of Ahlcon International School. The Jal Pratigya Diwas Virtual Assembly was conducted by class X- E for senior school students. It began with an informative thought. To explain the concept of save and preserve water, a significant poem was recited. To strengthen the concept and sensitised, significant tips were also shared by the students. It ended with a strong message We all know that water is the most useful resource on Earth. If we look beyond human use we will realize how water plays a major role in every living beings life. Assembly was very impactful, and it was appreciated by all.
Jal Pratigya pledge was taken by all the students and teachers of senior section in all the classes. Students and teachers also took virtual pledge on the given link. They took an oath that they would become ‘Jal Rakshaks’ and be the change makers. Children are the biggest agent of change. And they have to be at the forefront of a mass movement like mission Paani. Students also want to collectively join their hands to create a sustainable environment and sustainable world.
