Felicitating the dazzling stars of Ahlcon

Appreciation has always been the focus of Ahlcon International School. It boosts student’s morale, brings them a sense of accomplishment, and enhances their capabilities to excel. Students strive to achieve even more heights in order to be recognised by such awards. Keeping this in mind Ahlcon International School celebrated its APPRECIATION DAY on 22^nd December 2020. The awards were given to those who had demonstrated academic excellence in the previous academic year 2019 – 2020.

The event was graced by the dynamic presence of the school’s Principal Mr. Sanjay Yadav,  Headmaster Senior School Mr. Puneet Duggal along with other dignitaries, parents and teachers. The program commenced by invoking the Divine’s blessings through an invocation ceremony and opened the vistas of felicitations for young minds. The exuberant celebrations began with a speech of welcome by Akshara Nair, President of Student Council. 

The felicitations began with the announcement of subject toppers of classes IX – XI. The stupendous scores secured by students over a wide range of subjects, made their teachers and parents proud of their outstanding performances.

Indeed, lockdown has proved to be a window for creativity and a chance to explore new areas of fields and showcase one’s hidden talents. Proving the same, a melodious, self composed song by Asavri Verma and Ananya Verma mesmerized the audience.

The students who got 90% and above were also acknowledged. The lists, being huge, spoke volumes about the amount of hard work students put in to reach such heights. The list of class 10 toppers being the longest, in fact showcased the determination of our persevering students in acing the Boards.

After a beautiful classical fusion dance performance by Aastha Gupta of X-A, began the felicitations for the students who overcame all obstacles, toiled day and night and let their marks speak of their capabilities and talents, they were the class toppers. These were the students who got the highest out of all the sections of classes. They have helped to further augment the image of Ahlconites as students who strive to perform and lead.  

An inspiring speech by our respected Principal motivated the students to become good human beings and utilize all the knowledge and talent for the betterment of the society. Sharing his secret of success, he encouraged students to put their mind, heart, and intellect in even the smallest of acts. The thoughts of Mr. Puneet Duggal, HM Senior School, resonated with those of Principal sir, in expressing our gratitude to our esteemed teachers and beloved parents for helping us become the wonderful human beings we are today and for supporting us in all aspects of life and always standing beside us, strong as a pillar.   

Sachin Sharma, Vice President of Student Council, delivered the vote of thanks. His inspiring words made the victory of all the dynamic achievers even more profound and deserving. The virtual Appreciation Day celebrations came to an end with the message of always working hard, never giving up, bringing lots of laurels, and being obliged to the people who helped you become successful and achieve all the big milestones in life.
