NIMBLE STROKES

In order to develop sensitivity and appreciation for beauty, aesthetics, creativity and expression, Ahlcon International School, Primary Wing organised ‘Nimble Strokes’: a fun-filled event of Visual Arts in the virtual format on 9^th Aug, 2021.The event was an earnest endeavour to provide opportunities to the budding artists to unleash their artistic ideas and showcase their natural creative flair. Nimble Strokes went ahead with highly relevant themes of SDGs and festivals like Independence Day and Raksha Bandhan. The activities like Kite Making, Rakhi Making, Paper-Bag Making, Doodling and Poster Making gave a liberal platform to children to express themselves through their Artworks.

Students of Class 1 participated enthusiastically in the Rakhi making activity using waste material and reminded everyone to work for SDG No. 12- Responsible Consumption & Production. They made beautiful Rakhis and promised to use them on the occasion of Rakshabandhan.

Class II students created beautiful Paper-bags using  eco-friendly material and decorated it in tri-colour. They also wrote slogans related to Independence Day and saving our planet Earth. The activity was of great significance to them as they learnt the importance of tri-colour and the need of saving our resources.

The theme for Classes 3-5 was Independence Day. Students made beautiful decorative kites, posters on Peace and doodling of historic monuments. The school is incredibly proud of all its students and their extraordinary talent. The event proved to be a fantastic way of letting them shine and achieve greater levels of creativity.
