Independence Day

Independence Day was celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm by the Primary Section. A special assembly was conducted by the students and teachers of Neer House under the theme Azaadi ka Mahotsav. Students of classes 1-5 presented different performances and paid ode to the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the country.

Classes 1 and 2 started the assembly with a patriotic song and saw an informative video based on the importance of the day. The children enacted as freedom fighters and danced enthusiastically on various patriotic songs. They also expressed their spirit of patriotism through catchy slogans.

Students of classes 3 to 5 also showed different flavors of patriotism through their performances like Song, Dance, Kavita- Samaagam, Orchestra, Role Play, and Angles of Freedom in which they showcased the sacrifice and struggle done by our freedom fighters, present-day real heroes and our soldiers who are safeguarding all countrymen. Unity song was sung by them.  In orchestra, ‘Vande Mataram’ tune was played along with patriotic poem recitation. Students expressed their views what freedom means to them. 

Principal, Mr. Sanjay Yadav conveyed good wishes and greetings to everyone. He highly appreciated the presentation given by the students. He remembered the sacrifices of some freedom fighters like Chandra Shekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh who laid down their lives for the country and motivated students to work towards progress of the nation to take it to new heights of glory.

Headmistress Ms. Kavita Shah appreciated the efforts of the students, teachers and parents. She encouraged and motivated students to keep up the good work and advised them to be responsible citizens by taking care of cleanliness, surroundings and doing good deeds. The program concluded with the vision for India from a child’s perspective. Ahlconites were imbued with the feeling of patriotism. In the end the National Anthem was sung by all.
