KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS CLASS ASSEMBLY

Special assembly on Kargil Vijay Diwas was organized by Class 4D in remembrance of the Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives in Kargil war to save the country’s pride. Students enthusiastically participated in the programme.

The programme began with the wonderful thought stating the soldier’s love for the country. It was followed by a video presentation Kargil War which was a clear demonstration of India’s strength and wisdom. The Group Poem Recitation was truly a homage to the martyrs of war. The programme culminated with Group Dance on Patriotic Song “Teri Mitti’ which left us spellbound and teary eyed.

A quiz based on Kargil Diwas was conducted by Class Teacher in the end to refresh the takeaways of the assembly in the students’ minds.

The programme was well appreciated by Principal and Headmistress. They addressed the students and talked about ways to become a good citizen of India. They appealed the students to love their country selflessly and make their country feel proud.
