TRYST WITH POSITIVE ATTITUDE
“Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement; nothing can be done without hope.” —Helen Keller
Continuous Professional Development is an ongoing learning and improvement process that is proactive and intentional. It’s essential for personal and professional growth beyond formal education.
On 30th January,2023, Ms. Puja Raswant and Ms. Prabha Rawat from the Primary English Department got the privilege to share ideas and techniques of CPD in the school auditorium on the topic – ‘Tryst with Positive Attitude’. The workshop explored the idea of “the power of thoughts,” and how positive thoughts can attract positive outcomes in life. The participants, all the teachers of Primary Department, learned that what they put out into the world will come back to them in multiplied form.
The workshop was thoroughly enjoyed by the participants. All the participants actively participated in activities like Binge of Positivity, Coloured Candy Go Around, Positivity Burst, Sprouting Melody and Arousal of Inner Power. Necessity of staying positive was demonstrated through an activity called “Benefit Finding- Soma Out of Trauma,” in which each team was given a negative situation, and members had to provide positive affirmations to that situation.
The workshop concluded with a grounding exercise named “Plunge in the Eternal Bliss” that connected the participants with their true nature and allowed them to receive and create positive energy within themselves.
The aim of the workshop was to encourage a positive attitude, as it is essential for achieving success in life. The message was clear: optimism and hope are the birds of faith that lead to achievement, and nothing can be accomplished without them. Headmistress, Ms. Kavita Shah appreciated the way the workshop was conducted, the activities chosen and also praised the theme selection. She also said the we should indulge in practices to encourage positivity among us.
