Report on Power of Humour in Classroom

“Live Simply, Dream Big, Be Grateful, Laugh Lots.”

CPD by P.V.L.C department on Humour in the Classroom was conducted on 16^th March,2013 ,Thursday. Resource  person of workshop were Ms. Garima Mehra and Ms. Monika Sawhney. Workshop was based on ‘We believe WE learn best when WE laugh’, by making the classroom experience more comfortable and enjoyable, humour can make teaching and learning more effective. Humour is one instructional tool that teachers can use in the classroom to increase their effectiveness. In workshop activities were conducted such as:

1. Keep stress at bay to enjoy your day- teachers danced on 90’s Ad’s songs.
2. Humour with sentences-they have to arrange cups on which letters are written and make funny sentences out of that.
3. Funny me-teachers have to make cartoon that resembles their face.

Teachers enjoyed the workshop thoroughly. Principal sir and HM ma’am appreciated the efforts by the team and shared their valuable words.16
