REPORT ON ENGLISH LANGUAGE DAY

“Language is the blood of the soul into which thoughts run and out of which they grow.‍”

English Language Day was celebrated on 21^st April 2023 by Preparatory Department of Ahlcon International School in the auditorium. The 23^rd of April is considered as both birth and death date of William Shakespeare, the Bard of Avon, and this assembly was dedicated to this millennium bard. The event included interesting facts about this legend, tongue twisters and a beautiful poetry enactment on Shakespeare’s famous poem- “The Seven Ages of Man”. A student enacted as William Shakespeare and gave a message to the students to read more and more books and also encouraged them to converse in English. The efforts of the teachers and students were well appreciated by HM.
