ENGLISH SOLO RHYME COMPETITION – PREP

Competitions play a significant role in shaping and motivating children to perform to the best of their capabilities and learn varied skills that aid their all-round development. They offer a lot more than just rewards. By engaging in different kinds of competition one gains substantial experience, showcase and evaluate skills and discover several personality traits in the process. Keeping this in mind, Prep classes of Ahlcon International School organised English Solo Rhyme Competition for students of Prep on Wednesday, 19th April 2023 in school auditorium. Children recited different poems on the theme ‘Nature’. It was fun filled and students were given an opportunity to exhibit their speaking skills and confidence. It was a treat to watch and listen the little children all decked up with appropriate props as they shared a few lines with all their heart. As each participant not only took the stage, but also captured the audience’s attention with their powerful voices, expressive gestures, and captivating performances. The confidence shown by each during the competition was commendable. The judges had a difficult task in selecting the winners, as each participant had put in a lot of hard work and dedication to prepare for the competition.

Principal, Mr Sanjay Yadav and Headmistress, Ms. Pooja Shandilya, congratulated the students for exploring the power of language and expressing their ideas and thoughts beautifully with confidence and creativity.
