REPORT- CLASS IX ORIENTATION SESSIONS (ONLINE & OFFLINE MODE)

Orientation sessions were conducted on the school premises for the Class IX students on 11^th April 2023 and in offline mode for the parents on 10^th April 2023. The session aimed to familiarize students and the parents with the school environment, academic expectations and acquaint them with the Senior section in a better light.

The sessions commenced with an introduction to the motto of the Senior Section “Preparing Students for College, Career and Life”. The parents and students were apprised that the motto thrives on the underlying objective of facilitating each child to think independently and to prepare them to discover the world of higher education, employment opportunities, business, good governance, and success at work – all made robust with the right dose of innovation, opportunities, and pedagogical interventions. The ethos and values of Senior Section; academic structure and the co-curricular activities offered were explained in detail and the students were encouraged to strive for excellence in all areas. The presentation on the discipline policy of the Senior section emphasized the importance of punctuality, discipline and maintaining the decorum in the school premises. Vice-Principal, Mr. Puneet Duggal, inspired the bright galaxy of students through his radiant words in both online and offline sessions. Senior Section In-charge, Ms. Ekta Ratra answered the queries of the parents in the online Orientation Session and encouraged the parents to help develop a growth mindset in their ward.

The orientation sessions for students and parents were informative, engaging, and interactive. They provided them with an overview of the school environment, academic expectations, and available resources and helped students feel welcome, comfortable, and prepared them for the upcoming academic year.
