Ahlcon International’s SDG FEST 2022
To celebrate and applaud the vision of our great leaders and a resolve to add people and young citizens to become changemakers and accelerate progress towards the targets of Sustainable Development, 7th anniversary of the Sustainable Development Goals was celebrated on 24th September 2022. Ahlcon International has a rich and sustained tradition of celebrating SDG FEST since 2018. Entire Ahlcon family came together to share their noble ideas, tangible actions, and insights to further the transformative shifts for reconstruction of the society.
The fest was steered by the Middle Section under the adept guidance of HM Ms Sunita Rajiv. This grandeur ceremony was embellished by the magnificent presence of welcome our esteemed Guests Mrs Mansi Prasad and Col. Laljeet Prasad, a trained International Transformation Caoch and DMIT expert (Dermato glyphic Multi Intelligence Test), a trained expert in Chinese Language and Director, with the Prime Minister office.
Ashok Kumar Pandey, an active partner to the UN’s #Act4SDGs campaign and #TeachSDGs Ambassador, a climate Reality leader and Director of Ahlcon Schools; authoress of national repute Ms Shraddha Pandey, Principal Mr. Sanjay Yadav, a powerful advocator of SDGs; HMs, AHMs, teachers and students from various schools.
The programme commenced with Diya lighting and a magnificent dance presentation for the dawn of self-realization and to work for humanity.
The tiny tots of class 3 came up with a message that until a passion for learning is developed, one can never grow. Through their presentation they emphasised that education gives us the ability to change future and we can change the world only if we educate ourselves, our society and our nation.
Principal Ahlcon International School; Mr. Sanjay Yadav, in his opening remark greeted all the luminaries and expressed his immense satisfaction on the way the young change-makers across the globe were marching ahead with passion and doing their to bring transformation in the society.
A thought-provoking song was sung to kindle the flames of responsibilities towards mother earth. The fest had offered a palette of various activities spreading across Pre-Primary classes to Senior classes and more than seventy schools from NCR had enthusiastically participated to present their work in achieving the targeted seventeen SDGs. Glimpses of the previous fests that were organized by the school and the exceptional entries of SDG fest 2022 were showcased.
Everyone applauded the praiseworthy performance of the SDGians who made their entry as the flight attendants of the Aircraft with FLIGHT No. AIS SDG 2022 for the result announcement.
Mr Laaljeet Prasad, the Chief Guest congratulated the teachers and appreciated their commitment in igniting the young minds to take up the task of the furthering the sustainable development gaols and adding to the transformation of the world. He said only with dedication, grit, and determination the set benchmarks can be achieved.
Director Ahlcon Group of Schools; Dr Ashok Kumar Pandey in his address at the fest reverberated the commitment of every SDGian to take this mission force further with unrelenting perseverance. He appealed to the young students to keep up the contributions, continue their actions and be the torchbearers of the society.
The programme concluded with the promise of the SDGians to pursue the crusade until humanity is sustained.
