AIS CELEBRATES FIT INDIA SCHOOL WEEK CLOSING CEREMONY REPORT

Ahlcon International School, Mayur Vihar hosted this year’s FIT INDIA School week Closing Ceremony on 19th January 2023. The occasion was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Arun Kumar Gupta, on deputation, Sports Authority of India, Director of Government of India’s two flagship schemes – ‘Khelo India’ & FIT India and  presided by Guest of Honour Dr. Pradeep Kumar, Deputy Director Khelo India, SAI, Dr. Ashok Pandey, Advisor to SDPES President, Principal, Mr. Sanjay Yadav, Principal Ahlcon Public School, Dr. Deepak Bisht, HMs and AHMs.

The event saw a series of performance by our vibrant Ahlconites. To begin with, a classical face- off between two reverently famous Indian classical dance forms– Kathak and Bharatnatyam were beautifully showcased by Ritika Kumar and Cristee Arora of class XI F. Principal, Mr. Sanjay Yadav and Advisor to the president SDPES, Dr. Ashok Pandey addressed the gathering with their ever -inspiring and thought provoking words.

An exquisite presentation showcased the active and enthusiastic engagement of Ahlcon Group of Schools in various activities of the Fit India initiative.

Students from primary section  put up a wonderful show around the theme “Yoga- the Resource to Pacify the Mind,’ where they displayed their flexibility through various asanas.

 Neerav Kumar and Unnati Garg ,special achievers of Khelo India and State level Swimming champions were appreciated for their efforts during the Prize distribution ceremony

The Chief Guest Mr. Arun Kumar Gupta interacted with the students about the significance of mental health and of staying fit and appreciated the efforts of Ahlcon International School in keeping the vibrancy of being physically fit and mentally alive.

HM, Senior Section, Mr.Puneet Duggal wholeheartedly complimented the teachers and the students for their stupendous efforts.

The Ceremony culminated with a Vote of Thanks to all the dignitaries for their incessant support and guidance.
