Teachers Day Assembly

‘‘A teacher is a compass that activities that activates the magnets of curiosity, Knowledge and wisdom in the students.’’

A teacher plays a pivotal role in a child’s growth and development. Beyond imparting knowledge and academic skills, teachers serve as mentors, guides, and role models, shaping not only a child’s intellect but also their character and values. In anticipation of the upcoming Teachers’ Day on September 5^th , the Foundation Stage of Ahlcon International School celebrated this occasion with full passion and exuberance.  A Special Assembly was conducted on Wednesday, August 30^th by the students of Nursery A and Prep C to honour teachers for their special contributions in each student’s life.

The assembly commenced with a soulful rendition of ‘Guru Vandana’, a melodious ode to the mentors who guide and nurture the students. The children’s harmonious voices filled the auditorium, creating an atmosphere of gratitude and reverence.

Following the musical tribute, the assembly continued with the ‘Thought for the Day’, where a thought-provoking message related to the significance of teachers in our lives. This segment aimed to inspire everyone present with the valuable role teachers play in shaping individuals and society.

The highlight of the event was the engaging Talk Show, where students enthusiastically participated as speakers. The talk show provided a platform for the students to express their thoughts on the qualities and traits that make a great teacher. Their perspectives were heartwarming and showcased the profound impact teachers have on their students’ lives.

To add a touch of creativity and fun to the celebration, young children took on the roles of their gurus and teachers in a playful imitation segment. The audience was treated to adorable performances as the children emulated the teaching styles and mannerisms of their educators, bringing smiles and laughter to all.

As the children step into the shoes of the renowned teachers, they brought their wisdom and inspiration to life, reminding us all of the transformative power of education and the potential within each child to make a positive impact on the world.

The celebration concluded on a lively note with a Dance Performance by the students. The dance was a vibrant and energetic expression of joy, symbolizing the lively spirit of both teachers and students in their journey of learning and growth. The event was a heartwarming display of appreciation for the teachers who devote themselves to shaping the young minds of the school. It not only showcased the students’ talents but also underlined the special bond between educators and learners. The Teachers’ Day celebration was a fitting tribute to the teachers’ unwavering dedication and hard work.

Esteemed Principal, Mr. Sanjay Yadav, Head Secondary Stage, Dr. Ekta Khandari, Headmistress, Preparatory Stage, Ms. Kavita Shah, Headmistress, Foundation Stage, Ms. Pooja Shandilya, were honoured guests who graced the occasion with their presence, adding significance to the event. Their attentive presence not only acknowledged the dedicated efforts of our students but also served as a source of inspiration for the young minds gathered.

The assembly was a heart-warming tribute to our teachers, and it left everyone with a sense of warmth and appreciation.
