Class Assembly by 1C

Recycling is a fundamental practice that holds the key to a more sustainable and eco-friendly future. It involves the collection, processing, and transformation of used materials into new products, reducing waste and conserving valuable resources.

To spread awareness and sensitize everyone, Foundation Stage-II of Ahlcon International School organized a Class Assembly on the Theme-‘ Recycle, for a Life Cycle’, on Thursday, 12^th October 2023.

The assembly began by taking the Almighty’s blessings and Gayatri Mantra. The assembly reflected on the importance of Recycling. Recycling encourages responsible and sustainable consumption patterns. It raises awareness about the environmental impact of electronic products and fosters a culture of waste reduction. Students enacted a skit cum role play with the help of props on the various electronic devices and their uses, later it also laid importance on e-waste and how it impacts our environment. The topic was explained through a Powerpoint presentation , highlighting the recycling of e-waste and saving Mother Earth.

To enable children to understand better, a group of students presented a beautiful poem with placards on Recycling that gave a clear message of Saving the environment by our small endeavors. Miss. Confident shared some vital tips to use the resources more wisely and judiciously.

The mesmerizing dance performance by a group of the students enthralled the audience.

The quiz on Asian Games 2023 was conducted, wherein some related questions were asked from class I and II students. The students had a very encouraging response.

Lastly, it was followed by a speech by esteemed Headmistress Foundation, Ms. Pooja Shandilya, who encouraged everyone to keep taking proactive steps to conserve Mother Earth by reducing e-waste.

The assembly was conducted smoothly and the audience was mesmerized by the impeccable performance of the students.

The assembly concluded with the National Anthem.
