Theme – World Animal Welfare Day and World Teacher’s Day

The Assembly started with the prayer song and Gayatri Mantra. Students invoked the blessings of the Almighty. The comperes began by talking about how animals are an important part of our ecosystem and how they have been neglected by the human race.

Students who were dressed up as various animals like dogs, cats, cows, hens, etc. did a role play and spoke about what brutalities they faced at the hands of humans. After that, a group song in Hindi was sung by students which also talked about the pitiable conditions of animals today.

Students left no stone unturned in creating awareness about the ways in which we can improve the lives of animals through placard demonstrations. After that, a video that showed children’s love for animals was played. Miss Confident talked about amazing animal facts. Thereafter, a group dance performance was staged with the sentiment ‘Animals want be free, just like us.’

A talk on World Teacher’s Day was delivered by Amayra.

The Principal, Mr. Sanjay Yadav, and Headmistress, of Foundation Stage, Ms. Pooja Shandilya encouraged students not to tease animals and praised the performance of students and the efforts by the teacher.
