The historical educational trip to Gwalior, Jhansi, and Orchha was organized by Ahlcon International School for the students of classes IV and V. A total of 44 students along with the teachers left early in the morning on March 26th and came back on 28th March 2024. It was a resounding success, offering students a memorable and insightful journey through India’s rich past. The trip not only enhanced their historical knowledge but also instilled a sense of pride in our heritage and cultural legacy. Such experiential learning opportunities play a crucial role in holistic education by nurturing curious minds and fostering a lifelong love for learning. Students thoroughly enjoyed visiting Gwalior Fort to witness the Sound and live show. The students explored Gwalior Fort, Jhansi Fort and Orcha Fort. They admired the intricate designs and delved into their historical importance and architectural marvels. They were mesmerized by the panoramic views from the fort and learned about its strategic significance in Indian history. A mesmerizing sound and light show at Gwalior Fort brought history to life, engaging students with dramatic narratives and visual effects that highlighted key events and personalities associated with the fort’s history.

Hands-on experiences such as exploring forts, attending the sound and light show and interacting with local history enriched students’ learning beyond textbooks. This trip was indeed a rejuvenating escape from the routine that not only deepened students’ understanding of Indian history but also gave them lifelong memories.
