On the auspicious occasion of World Art Day, the Art Department conducted a memorable assembly on Friday, April 12, 2024.
The assembly’s theme, “RRR – Rescue, Reduce, and Recycle,” resonated with the global movement towards sustainability and environmental consciousness. It was an embodiment of creativity and ecological responsibility, where students showcased artifacts ingeniously crafted from waste materials, demonstrating that art can be both beautiful and eco-friendly.
The highlight of the assembly was the enlightening presentation on Leonardo da Vinci, where Ms. Hina and Mr. Narendra, with the help of class 5 students, illuminated the life and works of the legendary artist. They delved into interesting facts about his multifaceted genius, leaving the audience both informed and inspired.
Our esteemed Principal expressed his admiration for the assembly. His appreciation highlighted the success of the event and the positive impact it had on fostering an appreciation for art among the students.
In conclusion, the World Art Day assembly was a testament to the power of art in education and its ability to bring together the school community in celebration of creativity and innovation.
