Lemon Race- Prep
Physical exercise and race are crucial for the holistic development of children. Incorporating regular physical exercise and races into the routine of children is essential for their physical, mental, and emotional development.
On Monday. 13th May 2024, Ahlcon International School’s Foundation Stage 1 organized an exciting race event within the school premises. The event featured a Lemon Race for the Prep Students. The anticipation and preparation among the children were remarkable, reflecting their eagerness to take part in the races. The lemon and spoon race, often featured in school sports days and fun events, offers numerous benefits for children beyond just entertainment. Balancing a lemon on a spoon while racing enhances fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Through this race, children were allowed to gain control over their bodies and learn ways to maintain balance while moving, an essential skill for their overall physical development. A total of 30 enthusiastic students from Prep joyfully participated, bringing a burst of energy to the event. The efforts put in by these young participants were truly praiseworthy, reflecting their commitment to the races.
The lemon and spoon race is more than just a fun activity. It offers a range of physical, cognitive, social, and emotional benefits. Principal Mr. Sanjay Yadav and Headmistress, Ms. Pooja Shandilya congratulated the students and encouraged them to participate in such races that can contribute significantly to their overall development and well-being.
