Orientation- New Nursery 2024-25

In the heart of every successful educational journey lies a powerful alliance between dedicated teachers and committed parents, united by a common goal to cultivate a nurturing environment where every child can thrive and reach their fullest potential.  As we embarked upon the beginning of the New Academic Year, the School Management and teachers of Foundation Stage proudly hosted an Orientation Programme which was attended by the Principal, Vice Principal, Headmistress, Foundation Stage and Nursery parents. This event signified not just a beginning, but a commitment to collaboration and growth.

The first orientation program was organized by Ahlcon International School for new nursery parents on Saturday, 6th April 2024 in the school auditorium. The event served as a platform for teachers and parents to come together, to align and establish a shared vision for the educational journey of the young toddlers.

The program commenced with a captivating song medley performed by the teachers, setting a harmonious tone for the academic journey ahead. This was followed by the Welcome Address by the Headmistress, of Foundation Stage, Ms. Pooja Shandilya, who extended a warm greeting to the new parents, setting the stage for an enriching and collaborative educational journey ahead. In her address, Ms. Shandilya delved into the initial years in a child’s life, and its profound impact on their holistic development. She reiterated the school’s commitment to fostering a strong partnership with parents, recognizing their indispensable role in a child’s educational journey. During her address, she also took the opportunity to introduce the new set of teachers to the parents, affectionately referring to them as “mothers” who would serve as nurturing guides and mentors for their children throughout the academic year.

During the orientation program, the teachers outlined the school’s curriculum, the vision, ethos, and core values of the school, aligning them with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). They also provided insights into experiential learning, teaching strategies for fostering academic growth, parent portal, assessments, highlighting the interactive and holistic approach to education. Parents were also given an opportunity to understand their role in supporting their child’s education. Through the orientation program, they gained valuable insights into how education can be extended beyond the classroom, creating a conducive home environment for learning, and by actively engaging in their child’s educational journey.

Principal, Mr. Sanjay Yadav, extended a warm welcome to the new set of parents, and congratulated them for having joined this vibrant family that is dedicated to fostering both academic excellence and character development in every student. He emphasized the collective effort required to craft a remarkable educational experience. Drawing inspiration from Chanakya’s timeless wisdom on nurturing young minds, Mr. Yadav emphasized the pivotal role of parental example-setting, where values are taught and lived, serving as guiding lights for children to emulate and adopt.

The Nursery Orientation Programme concluded with parents having the opportunity to meet their child’s class teacher, fostering open dialogue over a cup of tea. Through this orientation program, the School demonstrated its commitment to nurturing a strong partnership between teachers and parents and emphasizing that together they can create an environment that can nurture the holistic development of the children, ensuring their success not only in academic pursuits but also in their personal growth and overall well-being.
