Report on Andaman Nicobar Islands
On 5th July 2024, The school assembly on partner state ‘Andaman Nicobar Islands’ was held at Ahlcon International School, by 5A of Preparatory Stage under the guidance of Ms.Sunita Sinha. The event aimed to actively enhance interaction between people of diverse cultures living in different States and UTs in India, with the objective of promoting greater mutual understanding amongst them. It is envisaged through this exchange, that the knowledge of the language, culture, traditions and practices of different states will lead to an enhanced understanding and bonding between one another, thereby strengthening the unity and integrity of India.
The assembly began with gratitude to the almighty followed by a warm welcome of the school heads, teachers and students. A very informative presentation was shown highlighting Kala Pani (cellular Jail) Saza by Britishers.
An English poem, on Andaman Nicobar was recited, showcasing the beauty and diversity of the place.
Last but not the least, was the energetic traditional dance performance where students dressed like indigenous tribes of Andaman coming from forests was witnessed.
The assembly concluded with appreciating remarks from the Principal, Mr. Sanjay Yadav, and Headmistress, Ms. Kavita Shah. They encouraged the students to be environment savior and respect all the cultural diversity of .
