CLASS ASSEMBLY BY CLASS I -C

The young Ahlconites of Class IC from Ahlcon International School, Foundation Stage, celebrated the International Day of Peace with a special assembly on September 20, 2024. Aligned with the global theme of promoting peace and harmony, the students beautifully conveyed the message of unity and compassion through their performances. The International Day of Peace, observed annually on September 21, encourages efforts toward fostering a peaceful and harmonious world.

Ahlconites began the assembly by invoking the blessings of Almighty followed by Gayatri Mantra. This was followed by presenting the thought of the day, emphasizing the importance of peace and love, followed by the news headlines. The highlight of the assembly was the Role Play segment, where the children portrayed the famous Noble Peace prize winners, such as Dalai Lama, Mother Teresa and Nelson Mandela. Through this powerful enactment, the students encouraged everyone to practice, empathy, compassion and understanding.

The students mesmerized the audience with a melodious Peace Song, followed by a captivating Dance Performance promoting love and harmony. Miss Confident from Class 1B added grace with her solo dance. The assembly concluded with a collective Peace Pledge by the students, reinforcing their commitment to peace and kindness.

Lastly, the assembly was followed by an address by Vice Principal, Mr. Puneet Duggal, and the Headmistress, Foundation Stage, Miss Pooja Shandilya, who inspired the students to become young peace ambassadors, and emphasized the role of education in promoting global harmony.  The students and the Class teacher of 1C expressed heartfelt gratitude to the esteemed Vice Principal, Mr. Puneet Duggal, and Headmistress of the Foundation Stage, Miss Pooja Shandilya, for their constant support, encouragement, and inspiring words, which added immense value to the assembly’s success. The assembly successfully instilled the values of peace, love, and unity among the students.
