Inter Class Hindi Group Rhyme Competition – Nursery
Rhyme recitation plays a crucial role in early childhood education, especially for Nursery students, as it fosters language development, enhances memory, and boosts creativity. Through group recitations, young learners gain confidence in expressing themselves, improve their articulation, and build a foundation for effective communication. At Ahlcon International School, these competitions are conducted every year to promote students’ skills and talents right from an early age.
This year, the Foundation Stage hosted the much-awaited Inter-Class Hindi Group Rhyme Competition on September 23, 2024, with the well-chosen theme of ‘Grandparents.’ Each section of Nursery selected a group rhyme centered around the theme and came together to express their love and gratitude towards the grandparents through their performances. The children spoke with great articulation, demonstrating their growing language skills, and radiated confidence on stage. Their heartfelt expressions beautifully conveyed the deep affection they hold for their grandparents, making the event a tribute to the special bond between them and their grandparents. The competition provided students with a wonderful opportunity to showcase their talent while developing their confidence and stage presence.
The competition, held in the school auditorium, was graced by the presence of Vice Principal, Mr. Puneet Duggal, and Headmistress, of Foundation Stage, Ms. Pooja Shandilya, who applauded the tiny performers for their outstanding presentation and showcasing the love little ones hold for their grandparents through their mesmerizing rhymes. The winners were awarded certificates with titles such as Outstanding, Excellent, and Praiseworthy. The Headmistress extended her heartfelt appreciation to the teachers and parents for training the students so well, making the competition a grand success.
