Special Assembly on Dussehra, Ram Navmi and Durga Puja by Prithvi House

“Virtue may stumble, but it never falls, for in the end, the light of goodness will always outshine the darkness of evil.”

On 8th October 2024, the students of Prithvi House presented a special assembly to celebrate the festivals of Dussehra, Ram Navami, and Durga Puja.

The assembly was designed with the following key objectives:

– Instill virtuous and righteous values in students.

– Foster teamwork and a sense of social responsibility among students.

The assembly began with a soulful rendition, invoking the blessings of Lord Rama and setting a serene, reverent tone for the event. This was followed by the Thought for the Day, which highlighted the importance of virtues and the triumph of good over evil, resonating with the core message of Dussehra. A brief news segment then kept the audience informed and engaged.

A unique aspect of the assembly was the thought-provoking skit titled Ravan Abhi Mara Nahi, where students conveyed the powerful message that both good and bad exist within each of us. The focus was on working towards nurturing our good side, drawing parallels to the lessons of Dussehra.

A self-composed poem was also recited, conveying a profound message from the Panch Tatva—the five elements of nature—to humanity. The poem emphasized the interconnectedness of life and urged us to live in harmony with these elements, reminding us of our responsibility to nurture and protect the natural world.

The assembly also paid tribute to the strength and resilience of womanhood through a powerful and dynamic dance performance, symbolizing Goddess Durga as a protector of sanctity and a beacon of inner strength.

The assembly was met with widespread appreciation from all dignitaries. The Principal, Mr. Sanjay Yadav, commended the students for their efforts, praising the thoughtful portrayal. He encouraged them to internalize and practice the values of Lord Rama in their everyday lives, reinforcing the importance of righteousness and virtue.
