Diwali Special Assembly by Prithvi House

On 28^th October 2024, The Diwali Assembly was held at Ahlcon International School, by Prithvi House – Preparatory Stage teachers and students of Prithvi house put up a splendid assembly in the school auditorium. A wide range of interesting performances were showcased by the students, which were a fusion of cultural richness and environmental consciousness.

The assembly commenced with a melodious song welcoming the festival of lights, which was followed by an insightful exploration on significance of Diwali through PPT. Students showcased a captivating dance drama “Geet Ramayana, Nritya Swaroop” followed by Vedic chants sung by the students in Sanskrit which portrayed the values of being kind, gentle and equality taught by Lord Rama. This was followed by a dance performance which showcased the victory of good over evil.

The assembly concluded with appreciating remarks from the Principal, Mr. Sanjay Yadav, Vice Principal, Mr. Puneet Duggal, Headmistress, Ms. Kavita Shah, Headmistress Middle and Foundation stage each appreciating the efforts of the Prithvi House Teachers and the participants. They gave the message of unity and tolerance to the children and asked them to celebrate a Green Diwali.

The event was informative and enjoyable, instilling in students a sense of pride in their culture and a reminder to celebrate festivals in a thoughtful manner.
