SPECIAL ASSEMBLY ON ‘DEEPAWALI’

“Light can be found in the most unlikely shadows.”

On 29th October 2024, the students of Class 6C presented a special Deepawali assembly, celebrating the festival’s spirit of positivity and hope to welcome brightness into their lives. The assembly aimed to:

• Illuminate Diwali’s cultural, spiritual, and environmental significance.
• Encourage students to reflect on the themes of light, responsibility, and individual choices.

The event began with a soulful invocation, followed by a unique role play, Ramayan Ki Ankahi Kahani, presented by Class 6C. This performance shed light on the lesser-known virtues of Ramayan’s villains, particularly Ravan, highlighting the role of karma in shaping one’s destiny.

A mesmerizing dance to Shiv Tandav Stotram titled Shiva’s Eternal Rhythm depicted the cosmic energy of Lord Shiva, captivating the audience with its intensity. The spiritual ambiance deepened with a devotional bhajan, Siya Ram Ki Mahima, and a heartfelt poem, Ram Bhakti Ka Saar, celebrating Lord Ram’s teachings.

The Reader’s Report featured a review of Scion of Ikshvaku by Amish Tripathi, which offered a contemporary perspective on Lord Ram’s journey. Embracing Diwali’s spirit of purity, the students launched “From Smoke to Sparkle – A Clean Diwali Drive,” promoting an eco-friendly, firecracker-free celebration.

Principal Mr. Sanjay Yadav, along with other dignitaries, praised the students for their efforts, highlighting the significance of bringing goodness into everyday life. The assembly concluded with an inspiring message on the power of light, responsibility, and mindful choices, underscoring the core values of Diwali.
