SPECIAL ASSEMBLY ON CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR BY AGNI & NEER HOUSE

Christmas is a season of joy, love, and togetherness, and the New Year is a time for hope, dreams, and new beginnings.”

The Christmas and New Year Special Assembly was organized on 24 December 2024 by Agni and Neer House. The assembly aimed to:

– Celebrate the spirit of Christmas and the arrival of the New Year.

– Instill values of love, joy, and gratitude among the students.

– Encourage students to make meaningful resolutions for the upcoming year.

The programme commenced with the Prayer, followed by a Bible Reading that highlighted the essence of the Christmas season. The News Headlines provided a glimpse of the current happenings.

The assembly included a musical rendition of carols, creating a soulful atmosphere. A video on the birth of Jesus Christ was shown to help students understand the story behind the festival.

In the role-play titled “The Symbols of a Miracle”, students explained the significance of Christmas tree ornaments, linking them to the festive spirit. A Christmas dance performance added vibrancy to the celebration.

A book review on a Christmas-themed story inspired students to read and reflect. The Santa surprise segment was a delightful moment as Santa Claus distributed toffees, spreading joy and laughter.

The programme concluded with students sharing their New Year Resolutions, emphasizing self-improvement and aspirations. As a token of love and gratitude, dignitaries were presented with gifts.

The assembly was a perfect blend of education and entertainment, leaving everyone with a sense of joy and hope for the New Year.
