Report on Two day Training ToT Session

The CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) Resource Person TOT (Training of Trainers) programme has been designed to train educators and facilitators who can then provide professional development training to other teachers within the CBSE system. The goal of the TOT program is to build a strong pool of empowered resource persons who can effectively mentor, guide and train others in the best practices of teaching, pedagogy and subject knowledge.

Ms Priyanka Tiwary, Ms Naina Malik and Ms Tina Chopra have successfully undergone these two-days CBSE training at Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan from 28^th Feb to 1^St March 2025. The power packed sessions were commendably conducted by Captain Mr. Yogendra Kumar Sharma and Dr. Pratik Ghosh. The training was thoughtfully designed, focusing on both theoretical understanding and practical application. Right from the inaugural session, the atmosphere was charged with positivity, collaboration and a shared sense of purpose.

Day 1 began with an insightful orientation session that set the tone for the entire training. The resource persons Captain Yogendra Prakash Sharma and Dr. Pratik Ghosh were highly knowledgeable, and their engaging delivery made the modules easily understandable. Interactive sessions, group discussions and hands-on activities ensured active participation and kept us involved throughout the day.

Day 2 delved deeper into session planning, time management and assessment strategies. Role plays and mock training sessions gave us the opportunity to practice our learnings in a safe space and receive constructive feedback. Collaborating with fellow educators from diverse backgrounds added another layer of learning, as we exchanged ideas and best practices.

It equipped the three educators with the necessary skills and knowledge to train other teachers in various aspects of education. The training programme covered a variety of themes such as curriculum design, teaching strategies, assessment techniques, digital literacy, subject-specific training, and more. It also focused on developing soft skills, leadership qualities and communication skills among trainers.

After completing the TOT, these trained resource persons are empowered to conduct workshops, webinars and training sessions for other teachers across schools affiliated with CBSE, as Resource Persons.
