“Safety is not just a slogan, it’s a way of life.”

The Road Safety Cell of the Delhi Police conducted an engaging and informative session for the Middle Stage students at Ahlcon International School on Tuesday, 15th April 2025, in the Auditorium.

The session was led by Traffic Inspector Devender Singh Tomar from the Mayur Vihar Circle, along with Sub Inspectors Ajay Kumar Tomar and Satyaveer Singh, and Woman Constable Manvika from the Road Safety Cell.

The key objectives of the session were:
• To raise awareness about road safety among young students
• To promote responsible behaviour on roads as pedestrians, cyclists, and future
motorists
• To engage students in meaningful interaction around traffic rules and safety measures

As a mark of appreciation, the Vice-Principal and Headmistress jointly felicitated the esteemed guests with planters as a token of gratitude for their valuable time and effort in guiding the students.

The officers interacted actively with the students, addressing various aspects of road safety through real-life examples and encouraging dialogue. Students were asked several questions on road safety and demonstrated commendable awareness. To appreciate their participation and enthusiasm, they were rewarded with road safety caps and badges.

Students were also shown an informative video on the Road Safety Exhibition Van, highlighting the importance of obeying traffic rules. The visual demonstration reinforced the significance of road safety in everyday life and left a lasting impact on the young audience.

This initiative is part of the ongoing efforts of the Delhi Police to instil safety consciousness in children from a young age. The session was both interactive and educational, leaving a strong impression on the young minds.
