Assembly on Gandhi Jayanti

For celebrating and paying tribute to Mahatma Gandhi’s visions and ideology’s, class VII A celebrated the 151th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri on 1st October 2020 through virtual platform. The distance of students from school could not hamper the utmost zeal and enthusiasm with which they paid their reverence to the national legends. The assembly began with a morning prayer followed by an enlightening thought. Then it was followed by the self-narrating autobiography by Vani and Namit.
Thereafter Skanda recited a self-composed poem on Gandhiji. It was then followed by a role play by Pratika, Naitik, Madhav, Vanshika, Arshit, Palak, Ahana Kwatra, and Shivansh showcasing some unknown incidents of his life which was extremely cherished by everyone.
The programme was further followed by another Poem recitation by Anshika and then Somya and Spandan presented the values they had learned from the life of Lal Bahadur Shastri. Lastly, the culmination was done by showing a video made by Jai on different activities done by the students of class VII A and the ppt was made by Yaashi. The assembly could effectively instill in the students the pragmatic philosophical ideas of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri. HM Middle Section Ms. Sunita Rajiv blessed the students and emphasized upon the imbibing the virtues of Mahatma Gandhi in their lives.
