International NASA Space Apps Challenge
International School took part in the prestigious International NASA Space Apps Challenge 2020 held between 2nd October to 4th October, 2020. Seven teams consisting of 41 participants (32 students and 9 Teachers) worked tirelessly to create solutions for the challenges faced by the earth and space.
In the first phase of the competition, all the teams presented their projects virtually before Local Leads on 26th September, 2020 on Zoom platform. Dr.Tazeen Siddiqui-Telangana Lead NASA Space Challenge, Dr. Syed Shadab, Scientist at National Remote Sensing Centre, ISRO and Dr. Umair, Scientist at ISRO were among the honourable Jury members.
Two of our teams-Climate Crew and Green Ambassadors are now among top 340 Space Apps Global Nominees selected from 2,200+ projects submitted for judgement worldwide. All of the Global Nominees will now be evaluated by Global Judges from NASA, who will select top 30 Global Finalists.
