Inter Class Prep Flat Race

“A sound mind in a sound body,” as believed by the Greek philosopher Thales, states that Sports play an imperative role in students’ life for their holistic development. Playing sports teaches lessons of life, such as teamwork, accountability, self-confidence, responsibility, and self-discipline. It also help develop values of mutual trust and cooperation.

We, at Ahlcon believe that a student, who is active in sports, will naturally have greater self-esteem, improved social interaction, and a more positive outlook on life.

Keeping this in mind, a well-coordinated Inter Class Flat Race for the Prep students of Foundation Stage was organised in the school playground on Friday, 21^st April 2023. On the count of three, students of Prep ran with full enthusiasm towards the finishing line. The students followed the instructions beautifully. This also helped in improving their movement and coordination skills. It was a delight to see the excitement with which the students participated. 

The proud winners of the races were felicitated with certificates by the Headmistress Ms. Pooja Shandilya. For little ones, it is important that they participate Sport related activities as they gradually get to understand that daily sports and games are a part of life. Children and teachers immensely enjoyed the Flat Race. It was a day filled with sportsmanship, enthusiasm, and memories to cherish.
