Financial literacy is the ability to understand and effectively use various financial skills, including personal financial management, budgeting, and investing. When you are financially literate, you have the foundation of a relationship with money, and it is a lifelong journey of learning. A workshop was conducted for Classes XI & XII by Dr Shunil Tripathi, a renowned career coach and financial mentor is an alumnus of Banaras Hindu University and Delhi University. He has worked with the Government of India under the Ministry of Statistics and program implementations. The workshop focused on teaching students the basics of money management: budgeting, saving, debt, investing, giving and more. The session was planned with noble intention of laying a foundation for students to build strong money habits early on and avoid many of the mistakes that lead to lifelong money struggles.
