Culmination of SDG FEST 2021

To celebrate and applaud the vision of our great leaders and a resolve to add people and young citizens to become changemakers and accelerate progress towards the targets of Sustainable Development, 6th anniversary of the Sustainable Development Goals was celebrated on 25th September 2021. Entire Ahlcon family came together to share their noble ideas, tangible actions, and insights to further the transformative shifts for reconstruction of the society.

The fest was steered by the Middle Section under the adept guidance of HM Ms Sunita Rajiv. This grandeur ceremony was embellished by the magnificent presence of Stalwarts, MR. Samarth Pathak, COMMS and Advocay Specialist, UNODC; Ms.Gail Davvis, UN Arts and Culture Envoy; Ms. Nada Ratkovic, A Researcher and a Social Activist from Croatia; abroad Mr. Venugopal Dharamranjan, Leadership Mentor, India and abroad; Dr. Ashok Kumar Pandey, an active partner to the UN’s #Act4SDGs campaign and #TeachSDGs Ambassador, a climate Reality leader and Director of Ahlcon Schools; Principal Mr. Sanjay Yadav, a powerful advocator of SDGs; Mr Deepak Bhisht, Principal Ahlcon Public School; Distinguished Principals of different schools, HMs, AHMs, teachers and students. Principal Ahlcon International School; Mr. Sanjay Yadav, in his opening remark greeted all the luminaries and expressed his immense satisfaction on the way the young change-makers across the globe were marching ahead with passion to do their bit and bring transformation in the society.

The programme commenced with Diya lighting and a magnificent dance presentation for the dawn of self-realization and to work for humanity. A glimpse of the previous fests organized by the school was shared and the SDG anthem was sung to kindle the flames of responsibilities towards ‘Mother Earth’. The fest had offered a palette of 14 activities spreading across 12 classes and the 56 schools from NCR that had enthusiastically participated showcased their work in achieving the targeted seventeen SDGs. Everyone applauded the praiseworthy performances of the SDGians. Mr Samarth Pathak, the Guest of Honour in his keynote address ignited the young minds to take up the task of the transformation with dedication and set benchmarks for all to follow.

Our esteemed Guest of Honour Ms Gail Davvis too exhibited her delight in the work presented by the students of Indi. She praised their deliberations and their contribution in this mega task of bringing sustainability in the world. Director Ahlcon Group of Schools; Dr Ashok Kumar Pandey in his own distinctive style urged students to take actions be it small or big and contribute to achieving the targets and be the torchbearers. HM Ahlcon International school; Ms Sunita Rajiv applauded the efforts of the students and reverberated the commitment of every SDGian to take this mission force further with unrelenting perseverance.
