VISIT TO GANDHI MELA- REPORT

29 students and two teachers from Middle section of Ahlcon International School visited Jawahar Bhawan in New Delhi to witness Gandhi Mela organized by Rajiv Gandhi foundation. All the children who came to visit the Mela were very excited. They got a chance to revisit the life story of Gandhi Ji through a puppet show titled Mohan Se Mahatma directed by well known puppeteer, Mr Mithilesh .The puppet show depicted the life of Gandhi Ji in an interesting manner.The puppet show was exceptional, it had the artistic touches required with a bit of humour. After the puppet show, students learnt how to make a comic or an illustration using basic shapes like a triangle or a circle. They linked art with Gandhi Ji which really fascinated the students. The visit inspired the students and they came back enriched.
