Parenting Session-A session to strengthen the bond

Children need a loving, secure, and stimulating environment for their optimum growth and development and for this to happen, their physical, developmental, and emotional and psychosocial needs must be met. The Parent -Child Relationship lays the foundation for the child’s personality, life choices and overall behaviour.

In practice with our ethos of being very supportive and lending a helping hand in raising good, conscious, moral, and successful children with a sense of civic responsibility in today’s challenging times, the first online Parenting session of this year 2021 was organized on 18thApril, 21. Resource person Dr Shushma P Desai, a practicing Pediatrician and an Adolescent Health Expert, the founder President of Adolescent Health Academy at Surat and the President of Surat Pediatric Association provided the parents a road map for raising children effectively.  Her suggestions, strategies, and techniques to learn to solve their problems, help making decisions, and develop their self-esteem were greatly praised as rearing children, effectively truly needs in depth knowledge and skills to communicate wisely with them.

Parents applauded the school’s initiative and requested the Principal Mr. Sanjay Yadav to organize more parenting sessions to receive extensive guidance in bringing up their wards well.

Headmistress Ms. Sunita Rajiv who is passionately working for the cause of child protection, too gave some tips on raising good, conscious, moral, successful children. Emphasizing on effective parenting as the key she requested parents to learn the skills to communicate wisely with their children and create happy, loving family relationships at homes.
