ANNUAL HEALTH CHECK-UP 2023, FOUNDATION STAGE

Dates – 11^th, 12^th, 13^th and 15^th September 2023

At Ahlcon, it is our constant endeavor to ensure the complete well-being of children on one hand and to provide the best possible environment which helps them to grow into healthy and active children, on the other.

With this aim in mind, the Annual Health Check-Up of students of Foundation Stage started on Monday,11^th September 2023 in the Phonetics Lab. The check-up was conducted for four days i.e., 11^th, 12^th, 13^th and 15^th September by a team of experienced doctors headed by Dr. Ekta from Digi Looks Healthcare Organization.

The checkup started with a general examination by the doctor which included a checkup of the throat, eyes, ears, and nails for any kind of infections. This was followed by a routine dental checkup for any cavities or infections in the teeth. The students were tested for their vision at the next step. Each child was asked to read the alphabet/ number chart from the wall and the observations were noted down by the doctors. At the last, the weight and height of each child was recorded by the doctor.

The team of doctors emphasized the need for a healthy and nutritious diet for the students. They motivated the students to eat a lot of citrus fruits and include green leafy vegetables in their diet. The health record of each student will be provided by the team of doctors and the same will be filed in the Students’ files by the respective class teachers.

The annual health check-up was supervised by Miss Hema, Bhargav, and Miss Puja Anand under the guidance of the Headmistress, Foundation Stage, Miss Pooja Shandilya. On the whole, the Annual Health Checkup is a great initiative taken up by the school for the good health and welfare of the students.
