With a spirit of Pride and Patriotism; and to rejoice in the glory of our Great Nation, the tiny tots of the Foundation Stage, Nursery-E celebrated 75th Republic Day through their Special Assembly on 25th January, 2024. Republic Day, a day of immense pride and historical significance, holds a special place in the heart of every Indian. It’s a celebration of Purna Swaraj, full of zeal & enthusiasm, magnificent cultural diversity, remembering heroes, honouring achievements, respecting nationhood and showcasing military prowess of our country.
The assembly commenced with a warm welcome by the teachers along with their little co-hosts Seerat & Anika. ‘Maa Sharda Stuti’ – ‘शुक्लां ब्रह्मविचार सार परमाम्…’ rendition was presented by Anika to invoke blessings from Goddess Saraswati. The confident comperes made the audience aware about the importance of this special day. The youngest regiment of Ahlcon International School presented an impressive parade on the beats of ‘Saare Jahan Se Achcha…..’ saluting the esteemed dignitaries. A captivating patriotic fusion of ‘Chhodo Kal Ki Baatein‘ and ‘Nanha Munna Rahi Hoon’ not only mesmerized the audience but also evoked a profound sense of nationalism, creating an atmosphere that inspired deep emotions for our Motherland.
Later, to mark the 127th Birth Anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Vihaan Jain Saran enacted as Neta ji and emphasized on the importance of Freedom. He passionately pleaded everyone to embrace a sense of duty towards our nation and to actively contribute to its well-being. In keeping the same spirit, a Nukkad Natak was presented, emphasizing the significance of small acts that contribute to becoming a true patriot and symbolizing the essence of ‘Sachche Deshbhakt’. It emphasized on saving paper, water, electricity; planting trees and being responsible towards keeping the country clean.
As Mahatma Gandhi said, “You must be the change you want to see in the world.”, the Nukkad Natak motivated each student to be a custodian of India’s legacy, as their actions will contribute to the ongoing saga of the world’s largest democracy.
Towards the end, to appreciate the rich cultural diversity of India, the little heroes of Nursery E presented diverse and distinct dance forms of different states of India. Their breath-taking dance performance not only captivated everyone but also infused the air with a sense of patriotism. The aim of this assembly was to kindle the flame of patriotism in the hearts of every student, inspiring them to be not just citizens but conscientious torchbearers of the nation’s ethos.
The Honourable Principal, Vice-Principal and Headmistress, Foundation Stage complimented the efforts of all the children and showered them with applause.
