TRIP TO AMRIT UDYAAN AND TULIP GARDEN
‘It’s better to see something once than to hear about it a thousand times.”
On 21st February 2024, the Eco Club and Class 8 students from the Middle Stage of Ahlcon International School embarked on a memorable educational excursion to Amrit Udyaan and Tulip Garden, accompanied by Ms. Seema Jaiswal and Ms. Monica Shishodia.
The trip aimed to achieve three primary objectives:
- Increasing awareness of biodiversity and its crucial role in maintaining ecological balance.
- Cultivating a connection with nature and foster an appreciation for the environment.
- Enhancing observational skills among the students.
At Amrit Udyaan, a renowned botanical garden housing a plethora of plant species, students participated in guided tours to learn about the ecological significance of various flora and fauna. The journey then led to the Tulip Garden, where meticulously curated tulip beds adorned the landscape with vibrant colours. Educational sessions at the garden elucidated the life cycle of tulips and underscored the importance of horticulture in environmental conservation efforts.
The day concluded as students returned to school, enriched with newfound perspectives and a profound connection to the natural world.
