Report On Story Telling Workshop
“The purpose of a storyteller is not to tell us how to think but to give us questions to think upon.”
To foster the skills of listening and reading, a storytelling session by Ms. Swati Goyal, a renowned storyteller, was organized in for the students of Class III to V, on 3rd May 2024 during Book Week 2024-25.
It was an interactive session where the children were not mere listeners but active participants. The stories told were not just tales, they were journeys that captivated the students, leaving a lasting impression far beyond mere facts and figures. Ms. Goyal’s warm and engaging storytelling method ensured that every child was hooked from the first word to the last.
The session underscored the power of storytelling as a tool for education—a shared experience that resonates with listeners and readers alike, fostering essential skills such as active listening and imaginative reading.
Overall, it was a great learning experience which was thoroughly enjoyed by the children.
