Orientation Session for Class VI Parents

On 11^th May 2024, the orientation session was conducted with a warm welcome from Class 6 Representative, who introduced the school’s vision and mission.

The objective of the session was to provide parents with an overview of the Grade 6 curriculum, school policies, and expectations, as well as an opportunity to meet with teachers and school administrators.

 A beautiful dance rendition, Saraswati Vandana was presented as the invocation by the middle stage students. Grade 6 curriculum was then presented by the Headmistress- Middle Stage, Ms. Sunanda S. Kumar, highlighting the key subjects, pedagogies, and assessments. The school’s policies and expectations regarding homework, discipline, and communication were also discussed.

Principal, Mr. Sanjay Yadav addressed the parents highlighting the educational reforms in terms of NCERT books, holistic report card, assessment policies as per NEP 2020 and later shared expectations from the parents that could work for the betterment of the students of this age group. Moreover, the Q&A session allowed parents to clarify any doubts and concerns they had. At the end, Vote of Thanks was proposed by Vice Principal, Mr. Puneet Duggal who anticipated parents’ and students’ expectations from school and assured that they would certainly be considered.

Overall, the session was well-received by parents, who appreciated the informative presentations and the opportunity to know the education system and policies. The orientation session for parents of Grade 6 students was a successful event that provided valuable information and insights into the school’s programs and policies. We look forward to continuing to work with parents to support the education and well-being of our students.
