Special Assembly on Kargil Diwas

Kargil Diwas serves as a reminder for every citizen of India how important it is to choose defense forces as a profession. To honor the soldiers who fought and lost their lives in the war, the students of Class II D from Foundation Stage-II of Ahlcon International School organized a Special Assembly on the theme of Kargil Diwas on Thursday, July 25^th, 2024. The assembly began with the Almighty’s blessings and the recitation of the Gayatri mantra.

To commemorate the bravery and sacrifice of our soldiers, we marked Kargil Diwas with immense enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. Through an engaging media presentation, our young students were introduced to the significance of this pivotal event in Indian history. The presentation depicted the harsh weather conditions that our soldiers endured for 85 days, creating a sense of wonder and respect in the children for the nation’s heroes.

To spark the value of patriotism a Nukkad Natak dedicated to our soldiers was presented by the students of Class II-D.  Through this Nukkad Natak, they made sure to let everyone know what kind of sacrifices our soldiers make to keep their countrymen safe. The students also shared valuable insights on how we can contribute to supporting our soldiers in their noble endeavors. Their powerful presentation touched the hearts of everyone in the auditorium, leaving a lasting impact.

Adding to the emotional reverberation, Master Confident from Class II-A proficiently played the Casio and rendered a soulful song that perfectly complemented the theme. The passionate dance performance celebrating the victory of India by a group of students also enthralled the audience.

Lastly, the event concluded with motivating words and appreciation by the esteemed Principal, Mr. Sanjay Yadav, and Headmistress Ms. Pooja Shandilya, encouraging everyone to be thankful and respectful to our soldiers.

The class teacher and students of Class II-D proposed a vote of thanks to express their heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to the esteemed dignitaries. The event culminated with a soulful rendition of the National Anthem, leaving a lasting impression on all present.
