Nest Making Session Report

On 28th October’24, Ahlcon International School hosted a unique and impactful “Nest Making Session,” led by none other than Mr. Rakesh Khatri, the renowned “Nest Man of India.” The event aimed to create cultivating environmental awareness and a deep respect for nature’s delicate ecosystems.
The session opened with a warm welcome to the esteemed guest, Mr. Khatri, followed by a brief introduction to his incredible journey in conservation. Known for his dedication in protecting bird habitats, particularly sparrows, Mr. Khatri shared insights into the nesting practices of various bird species and the critical role they play in biodiversity.
He appreciated the efforts of students for creating nests with natural materials like twigs, grass, and mud. He also shared some of the best nest-building techniques and explained how even small actions can contribute to conservation efforts. Mr. Khatri acknowledged the students by giving them a certificate of appreciation.
The session concluded with an appreciation for Mr. Khatri’s time and dedication, followed by words of encouragement from the school heads, who commended the students for their active participation and growing interest in environmental stewardship.
