Report on Republic Day Celebration

“From the Himalayas to the sea, Our Republic is strong and free”

Students of Ahlcon International School, Preparatory Stage celebrated Republic Day on 23rd January 2025 with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The event highlighted the importance of the day and its relevance in today’s context. Students showcased their talents through various performances, beginning with a soulful patriotic song that stirred a sense of unity and pride among everyone present. A vibrant dance performance highlighted the diversity and cultural richness of India, while a thought-provoking skit on Fundamental Rights and Duties emphasized the responsibilities we share as citizens of this great nation. Adding an educational dimension to the celebration, students presented a PowerPoint presentation that delved into the historical significance of Republic Day and its role in shaping modern India. They discussed the importance of upholding the Constitution in today’s rapidly changing world and how it serves as a guiding light for equality, justice, and liberty. What needs special mention is the presentation of the significance of the word REPUBLIC in today’s context.

The program concluded with an inspiring speech by the principal, Mr. Sanjay Yadav who urged students to contribute to nation-building by becoming responsible citizens and motivating words by the Vice Principal that kindled the love for country amongst students.  The event was a reminder of our rich heritage and the role we play in sustaining the values enshrined in the Constitution. The celebration was a resounding success, fostering patriotism and a deeper understanding of Republic Day among students and staff alike.
