The colors of life are the hues of our culture, rich in tradition, diversity, and vibrancy, painting the canvas of our nation with its timeless beauty. Embracing this thought, Ahlcon International School’s Foundation Stage hosted its much-awaited Annual Show, Jharokha 2025, on the theme ‘अतुल्य भारत: एक रंगीन गाथा’. The event showcased the unity and richness of India’s heritage through a kaleidoscope of performances that highlighted the country’s cultural and artistic treasures.
The annual show’s theme, ‘अतुल्य भारत: एक रंगीन गाथा,’ was brought to life through a captivating play that revolved around a king and his three sons living in a colorless kingdom. The sons longed for color in their lives and wished to explore India and its states to understand the beauty of a colorful world. The fairies added an enchanting touch to the story, while the narrators, with their confidence and articulation, skillfully wove the tale together. The vibrant dances and performances by the young students brought the essence of each state to life, with costumes and props that captured the spirit of India’s diversity.
The costumes, dances, and props, representing Kashmir’s red, Kerala’s green, Bengal’s blue, and Rajasthan’s yellow, captured the audience’s attention and reflected the country’s diverse cultural tapestry. It was a pure joy to witness these young students take center stage with such enthusiasm and confidence. Their flawless performances, coupled with their ability to speak so confidently at this tender age, truly left everyone in awe.
The event was honored by the presence of dignitaries, including Principal, Mr. Sanjay Yadav, Vice Principal, Mr. Puneet Duggal, Headmistress- Foundation Stage, Ms. Pooja Shandilya and heads from various sections. The Chief Guest, Dr. Rabbi Ezekiel Issac Malekar, Chief Priest and Secretary of Judah Hyam Synagogue, commended the students’ performances, appreciating their creativity and enthusiasm in bringing the theme to life.
The event also featured a melodious welcome song, ‘अतिथि देवो भव:’ performed by the nursery students. The grand finale dance was the perfect culmination, beautifully concluding the program with a burst of energy and joy.
