1. Is Ahlcon International School a private School or a Govt. School?

Yes! It's a private, unaided, Govt. recognized school; established in 2001.

2. Which organization runs this school?

Shanti Devi Progressive Education Society is the trust that runs the school. It is a vision driven school.

3. Is residential facility available?

No

4. Does the school follow international syllabus?

No, We follow national syllabus and affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

5. What international educational practices are followed?

Excellent teacher - taught ratio, state-of-the-art infrastructure, broad-based curriculum, focus of on holistic education, international linkages, personal attention, counseling and guidance services are the hallmark of our educational process. Our motto reads “Global Perspective Indian Values”.

6. When does the admission process begin?

Pre-school (Nur) admissions begin in December after a notification is made by the Govt. of NCT, Delhi. Registration is invited online.

7. When does the admission in class XI begin?

In March-April provisional admission is done as per the criteria announced by the school.

8. When does the admission in other classes take place?

Admission in the other classes are subject to availability of vacancy. Inquiries are invited in the month of March

9. When does the school session commence?

We begin the new session in the first week of April. The final evaluations take place in the month of March, the following year.

10. Does the school provide sports facilities?

We have well planned swimming, basketball, T.T, Skating, Squash Rifle shooting, Yoga and Judo programs in the school. Two of our shooters will represent India soon. Our swimmers, basket players are doing us proud nationally/internationally. Other sports are also well in the reckoning.

11. Does the school have international student exchange program?

Yes, We have partnership with Europa Schule, Koln in Germany. We are also part of the Connecting Classroom program under the aegis of British Council. We are a lead school registered with Tony Blair Faith Foundation. Recently we have joined EuMind Program and Australian Bridge Program.

12. Does the school encourage outside classroom learning?

It is an integral part of our scheme. Eco-Club, Literary clubs, a number of national and international projects on issues of human rights, environment, social issues offer opportunities to develop sensitivity and world citizenship.

13. Is there a provision for under privileged students to receive education at Ahlcon?

Yes 25% seats are reserved for this section as per the provisions laid down by the Govt./RTE at the entry level.

14. Is bus facility available?

Yes, bus facility is available on the designated routes listed on the website.

15. Does the school have nursing assistance?

Yes, a full time nursing assistant looks after the children with minor complains. Parents are intimated immediately in the event of further medical attention required. In the event of non-availability of the parents, we immediately take the students to the nearby hospital.

16. What are the preferred courses students go for after graduation?

Most of them go for Engineering, Medicine, Pure sciences, Humanities, Commerce, Economics, English, Fashion designing, Law, Journalism, Finance and Accounting. Some have taken up animation and fine arts .A sizable numbers of students also take admission abroad.

17. How are the counseling services provided in the school?

Positive interventions are provided by the teachers on a day to day basis to support the developmental needs. A qualified counselor functions in close coordination with the teachers. Another qualified counselor takes care of the needs of career counseling and guidance..

18. Can I meet school authorities with regard to the admission?

You may place a request by calling at the school reception or through a mail

19. Can I have a Campus Tour?

You may get a virtual tour of the campus on the school website. A formal written request should be submitted at the school reception to avail the physical tour of the campus.
